Attending Board Members:Vice Chair: Linda Workman – Board Members: Sean Burke and Kim Klemish1. Sean called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.a. Next was the pledge of Allegiance.b. Minutes were approved as written.c. Six attendants were there, three of them are board members.2. Public Input:a. Tish Barringer (resident) brought up the fact the roads need to becleaned up. Asking about inmates to clean up the roads. Sean to bringup the idea of inmates cleaning/picking up trash at the board meeting inLovelock.b. Larry Rackley (county commissioner) pointed out that it would cost thecounty about $500 a day to use inmates for trash detail.c. Tish Barringer also stated that there are dozens of live animal traps onGood Choice Road.d. Jack Pardick (resident) stated that the transfer site is still a mess. Thebins are continually full beyond capacity. Also noted that the west sideof the transfer site is also an issue with trash and unfortunately deadanimals.e. Larry Rackley made a statement if we could get someone out at thetransfer site for a couple hours at a time, to see what county the trash iscoming from.f. Sean Burke commented on maybe paying more money to the contractorto empty more often.g. Also noted that Rye Patch and Imlay have no issues with their transfersite compared to ours. Also talked about is the issue of recycling.h. Larry Rackley talked about the code enforcement position. Will be outin the paper in about couple weeks.i. Sean Burke talked about Annette and her situation. Annette will notreapply for her position in June. Also, was mentioned doing aproclamation for her. She and Don have done so much for thecommunity.
j. Jack Pardick asked if the person who blades the road if they could do atouch up on the main roads in Dutchman Acres.3. Event Planning:There will be a CPR program put on by Sean Burke on Monday, June 26,2017.4. Sheriff’s Report:There were no sheriffs in attendance.5. Fire Department Report:Slow time at the fire dept. so they have taken the time to go through allof the trucks to make sure everything is in working order. They areanticipating a rather bad range land fire season. The new truck is workinggreat. The expansion for the fire dept. building is well under way.6. Public Input: None7.
